Happy Birthday Claire!

It is hard to believe that Claire is already 2.
She is our fun quiet little girl.
We loving having this little girl as part of our family.
She has a way of making us all smile!

Lemon Juice

Ellie asked us why we don't drink lemon juice by the glass. She really wanted to try it so we let her. Here was her reaction.

She now understands! Next it was Claire's turn.


She liked it so much she wanted more! Clare then wanted her dad to to have some lemon juice.

Kindergarten!!

It is amazing how fast kids grow. It seems like yesterday Ellie was a baby and now she is starting KINDERGARTEN! She is so very excited. So far she loves it. Here are some pictures of her first day at school!

Party!

My cousin Jaimie and Aunt threw a party for the Bezanson women and kids in the area. It was so much fun seeing everybody and the new babies. We have had 3 girls and 1 boy to the family, with 1 more girl on the way! The 3 girls all have names that start with the letter A. Arley, Adalyn and Aria. I sure do love my family and all that they do for me. They are an amazing group. Thanks Jamie and Aunt Marilyn for all of your work.

Adalyn

This is one of my favorite pictures of Adalyn. She is growing up so fast. It is hard to believe that she is already 3 months. She is a happy baby I just love it when she smiles. As an added bonus she is sleeping through the night.

Rain, Rain

I love the summer rain storms. The girls had fun playing in the rain today. I think that they like them just as much as I do. It was fun to watch my girls dance and sing in the rain. Claire could stay out in the rain all day. Ellie was done when she decided that she was cold.

24th Parade

This year Ellie got to dance in the parade. She usually rides in the back of the truck. They danced to Girls just want to have fun! Ellie thought it was cool that I danced to that song when I was little. It was a different version.

4th of July

This year for the 4th of July we went to Nevada. It was a great weekend. We got to spent some time with Baylee and Mitchell as well as my parents. We brought out fireworks so Adam and my dad put on the show. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool and playing with the dogs.

Zions

We went to Zions one weekend in June. The kids had a blast. Claire loves to ride in the backpack. We did the Emerald Pools hike and the River walk. It was nice to play in the water. When we first arrived in Zions we met up with Farmor and had a picnic. Here are some pictures of our fun afternoon at Zion National Park.

Father's Day

The girls were so excited that dad was going to be home for Father's day. Ellie made him lots of cards during the week. I am not sure of he ended up with any of the cards. Here is picture of Adam and his girls on Father's day.

Adam's Idaho Home

Here is a picture of Adam's home in Idaho. When Adam is not in the mountains camping he hangs out here.

Challis, Idaho

In June we went to Challis to check out the town. Adam has been working here since March. He keeps telling us how beautiful the area is. It was a ton of fun checking out the town that we may some day get to call home. Finding housing has been a problem. Here are a few of the pictures from our trip.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was eventful for us this year. We welcomed Adalyn Kate Petersen into the world that morning. Ellie was very excited to have another sister. Claire was not as excited. She glared at the baby and mom when she arrived at the hospital. Claire loves her sister now and can't get enough of her.
For those that would like some of the details they are below the pictures.

We arrived at the hospital at about 7am . They got me all settled in and checked my progress. I was a 4+. I remember thinking I have been awake since 3 am and I have gone from a 4 to a 4+. After another hour they checked me again and I was a 7. They called my doctor to let her know that she needed to get to the hospital. When she arrived she broke my water and it was time for a baby. Adalyn's heart rate kept dropping. Laurie found that the cord was wrapped around her neck and her body. So we had to get her out fast. By 8:30 am we had our little girl. This is the 2nd birth that I have done natural. My doctor said she kept forgetting that I was not on drugs because I was able to hold a conversation in between contractions.

A rare moment!

Claire really likes to color like her big sister. Most of the time Ellie takes the crayons and coloring book and colors where her little sister can't reach. The other day Ellie decided it was ok to color with her little sister.
