We started our the long weekend in Nevada where we spent Thanksgiving Day. We had a ton of fun just hanging out and playing the wii. On Friday we drove to Cedar Hills, Utah and spent the rest of the weekend there. Grandma Linda and Grandpa Alan planned some fun activities for all of the kids. They got to pin the hat on the Turkey. Decorate Gingerbread cookies! The finished cookies!!! Some random pictures of our time at Grandma & Grandpa Petersen's.
We had a fun Halloween. First Ellie went with her cousin Jack to his Trunk or Treat. Second we went to a fun carnival that was at SUU put on by one of the churches here in Cedar City. They had fun games and after the kids played games they got candy. Next we went to our wards Trunk or Treat. The last thing that we did was take Ellie to Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Jim's house. Here are some pictures from the night. Ellie was the Sugarplum Princess.
A couple of weekends ago we went to Nevada to my parents house to watch a race. It had a little of everything from dirt bikes to trucks. Ellie had fun playing in the black dirt and watching the trucks race by. My brother helped out a guy that had a an accident on his dirt bike. He ended up with a broken rib and some broken fingers.
Ellie playing in the dirt!!
This is to show how close we actually were to the race. Since we were so close Ellie and my nephew Mitchell would wave at the racers and try to get them to honk at them. They did get a few honks and were the happiest kids.
